The Situation

A Dutch couple, both retired and on the MM2H programme, were looking for a settled, quiet apartment in Bukit Tunku. They had seen several units through other agents and found the experience high-pressure and confusing. They were unsure whether any of the properties they had viewed were actually suitable for their daily way of life.

What We Did

We began with a reset — a full lifestyle conversation, starting again rather than building on a confused shortlist. We focused on practicalities they had not mentioned: proximity to the nearest wet market, morning shade direction for their preferred veranda times, and building lift-to-unit ratio. A shortlist of three was presented with a written comparison document. Two viewings were arranged, both at different times of day to assess the actual light and noise environment.

The Outcome

The couple moved into a low-floor unit in Bukit Tunku in February 2025. They described the process as "the opposite of what we expected" — unhurried, honest, and ultimately reassuring.
